Music for the soul

Hey guys, how have you been?

So recently the exams are over and i got back my results yesterday, I did fairly well and only flunked A math badly. How badly you may ask and I will tell you, I did so badly to the point where even my mother tongue did better than it, which talking about my mother tongue I got a overall of a B4 for the end-of-year exams, amazing right? I was laughing hysterically when I got back results because I was just so shocked. It was a real big surprise for me and also a big encouragement as it has shown that my efforts on trying to improve my mother tongue has paid off.

Its beyond the music sheets, its in the soul. )

Woo! Long time no enter entries guys!

So alright, i've been missing in action for quite sometime now, i was kinda doing some lurking about in LJ communities and i just recently entered one icon contest, frankly i dont know whether i'm going to screw up or not but i do hope i do well. For all i know i've always been screwing things up so... well... thats it i guess.

I'm back to drawing!!! I got a new A4 sketchbook and wanted to start on a journal like thingy after reading an art illustration book and thought why not do that since it makes a lot of sense. Today is the 44th birthday of Singapore! Man, can you believe it! Onwards to 50 and then its gonna be a HUGE celebration. I was recently doing some exploring in art, watercolouring, pen, shade...etc. you name it! Its also confirmed that i will be going to Sydney at the end of the year, woo hoo!

Where we find out, drawing does bring out my inner insanity. )

Woo! Wilson!

60% Eccentricity, 30% Confidence, 55% Kindness

Congratulations, you're Dr. James Wilson! You've got the tough role of being the conscience and best friend to Dr. Greg House, which proves that you must be secretly (or openly) insane. You're always a good person for providing advice, witty remarks, free lunches, lectures, and (wanted or unwanted) psychoanalysis. You are about as confident as the average person, but you have some big issues with yourself, and may have problems living up to the ideals you have in your head. You do really care about other people, though, even if you sometimes express that caring by trying to get into their pants.

Well, its been rather long since i last posted, frankly i really have nothing much to tell (either that or i have too much to tell but too lazy to think about it and tell you all). But anyway, so this Friday i'm going to meet up with a friend and 'rock out' together musically.

Damn, this is bloody short )

Finally

Woo~

So i finally got my new ukulele and i was so damn happy, the sound was better than i could've imagined! Its like screaming "DAMN THIS IS SO FREAKING PROFESSIONAL!!!", actually i was really getting and acting all excited when we went to the shop that i heard my bro told me the lady(there was this mum and son in the shop and the guy who works there) she kept staring at me, don't know whether because i play well or just because i acted all excited. Frankly its not my fault i act like i got something huge to make a big fuss out of it(actually to me, it is because trust me, after i played this new uke and compare it with my old one, i swear i could squeal in excitement which of course i didnt).

So anyway, my new uke actually has a brand name that exist, my old one has a brand name and when i search it up couldnt find it but the point is not really in the brand, its more of how they manufactured it. Its a Maestro UC-20, Full solid Mahogany wood concert uke, man, even saying it sounds all so prestigious and huge and the sound is just beautiful. I can now actually practice my fan strum(a fan strum is a strumming pattern, it is usually used in a spanish song), for my old uke it just makes it sound like one whole piece of mess but the good thing about the old one is that i could practice my chunk on it(a chunk is again another strumming pattern, it produces somesort of beat and is usually used in raggae style).

Other than my uke, i'm still as lazy as ever and not doing my homework, well, actually i am but at a really slow rate which isnt good because i gotta spend my holiday wisely which i am not, so i'll be trying to get myself to work after this. Lately i've been lurking around graphic tutorials and House-fandom graphic pages, which i was thinking of probably submitting my work cause i'm bored and stupid but of course i dont know anything yet. Maybe i'll submit after this, who knows.

I've been moving around trying to find ideas, pictures, motivations and lots of stuff to keep up with my graphic-power hungry appettite. Mmm... Actually, right now i dont know what to say anymore, so i guess its gonna end here so ciao.

Original piece from some fansite or google:

Who do you think it is easier to talk about your problems with: your friends, your family, or strangers?

.... So basically its cool, abit lazy to say some stuff, anyway, as for the summerising of my day, i held it off and so i kinda forgot what i wanted to put down so basically i will move on and get to my other part of the entry which is gonna be now.

So just now i was watching the last two parts of E! Hollywood True Story or something like that, and it was about ellen, i remember watching it earlier on and that was when i was truely inspired by ellen to do comedy because of that. It was really awesome, that was the first time i truely learn everything i guess it was an eye opener for me cause i was kinda cooped up in our own little world, you never really learn about others till you get to hear and see it for yourself.

Don't tell me you've forgotten )

Woah, today weird weird man.

My CCA is nuts, members are against members, super serious meetings with the teacher in charge of the CCA and still got homeworks and projects, yup, definitely i am in my 3rd senior year, crazy stuff.

Anyway, other than that, our math teacher for once never gave as homework that needs to be handed in this week which is so cool cause right now i'm having a real good break, all my homework is pushed for tomorrow and my SS project is next week on tues.

So anyway, i kinda wanna move on with my secret project which i mentioned during my one week of march holiday ( not exactly an holiday actually), so i'll put more details sometime soon and see what else i can talk about, lately i'm been putting lots of stuffs down so maybe this would be like somesort of trailer? Lol.

And i'm struck by the melissa etheridge's icon attack, well, frankly, country singers just have their styles. xD

...And not to mention a real good match to my this two part entry...    >:D

If a friend started reading your journal today, what would you need to fill them in on so they could understand what you're writing about?

Lol it might be too complicating for them to understand, they might be too shocked, xD

Hey, me backie, i've just finished my homework and still got plenty to go, tomorrow is councillor bonding day so tomorrow i'll have time to do my homework, i've been trying to be optimistic lately, i've decided to not fly through my life cause its really not helping with my attitude towards it and i cant stay enemies with what i dont like, it doesnt solve anything, so instead, i'm just moving along with the curve, just enjoy what i can and dont look on the bad side all the time.

Bonding? Alright i guess... )

Lol, its really quiet lately with the journal, i suddenly feel like i'm talking to myself.  x)

For this week, i got 2 cds from Melissa Etheridge, really cool. She makes one hell good of a country, rock and roller! You should seriously listen to her singing "Piece of my heart", originally sang by janice joplin, which is like holy...! Its really vocally demanding.   xS

Holiday? Frankly, i don't see the difference with this much homework )

Okay, so after a hold off break, i'm back to my entry, so i got my drawing tablet called 'Bamboo Fun' and i'm drawing like mad lately and also thought of a project where i can use it and its going quite well, even for a small tablet, its good in everyway, no regrets of getting it, worth every single dollar!   :D

I know she's watching me )

Alrighty.

Its been a long time since i've blogged, i've been holding this off, lol, seriously, not good and also, last friday which was yesterday, i had an art test, we did portrait which was difficult cause as i did the 4 layers of colours - Darkest, dark, medium, light, kept coming off as i coloured, so everytime i colour, a patch keeps coming back up. Anyway, other than that, I FREAKING PASSED EMATH WOO!!! >:D

Get a brief clue )
